On July 11, 2023, Rhodes had the honor of collaborating with Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley to make a special wish come true for Austin, a young boy with a critical illness. Austin’s wish was to visit Nintendo World at Universal Studios California, and the team at Rhodes was humbled to be a part of this magical experience.
The wish reveal was held at our headquarters in McAllen, Texas, and was attended by Austin, his family, and representatives from Make-A-Wish RGV and Rhodes. The excitement in the air was evident as Austin was granted his wish.
As part of the wish reveal, Austin was also given a signed Super Mario Bros. movie poster and a special note from the director of the movie and Juliet Jelenic, the little girl who played the role of Lumalee.
Seeing the joy on Austin’s face was an unforgettable moment for everyone involved. We are proud to support Make-A-Wish RGV and remain committed to continuing our partnership in granting wishes to children with critical illnesses in the Rio Grande Valley.

On July 11, 2023, Rhodes had the honor of collaborating with Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley to make a special wish come true for Austin, a young boy with a critical illness.
